THE FIRST SHADOW by Ray Denhison. This original, one of a kind work is a digital image of the windows above the entrance to Woodward Public School in St. Louis. The photograph, taken by Denhison, is printed on a page taken / torn from an out of print Art History book. The book page, with images of a Greek Revival house and architectural floorplan, has been used as it was found with no alterations (the paper has toned naturally with age, shows signs of wear/use with torn edge as shown). The piece is signed and dated.
